Part of knowing for sure if Georgia Tech is right for you is to visit the campus and experience our culture, environment, and people first hand through one of our visitation options. While summer is a great time to visit our campus, we want to make sure you come prepared for the heat! The campus tour that follows the freshman information session is a fully walking tour that lasts approximately 1 hour and is primarily outdoors. We are not able to provide water to our guests, so please come prepared with your own water or bottle to fill at the fountain and dressed in comfortable, cool clothing. Georgia Tech offers a wide variety of student resources and activities that keep Tech students extremely active. There are several support programs such as Success Programs, the Women's Resource Center and OMED the Office of Minority Educational Development, that offer academic and transitional support to help students succeed at Tech. Other departments like Housing and the Student Center work with students to create programming targeted at our student body. From concerts and festivals to free food, they keep campus life interesting year round. With over 300 student organizations , ACC sports teams to cheer on, and the city of Atlanta right next door, there is virtually something for everyone on campus and in the surrounding area.
